Being responsible for all operations, Jan directs and coordinates all departments. Together with the management team, he sets the goals and guides Grid to strengthen its position in the advertising and film industry.

Jan knows all the ins and outs at Grid, and he should too. Being the studio manager, he is responsible for all projects, all fellow workers, machines and tools to bring the productions to a good end. Being a technical wizard, he oversees all workflows and organizes the quality control. He has a significant role in sales and keeps track of the briefings once in our hands.

Our producers act as the key contact person between the production house and Grid. They follow the project step by step until the end, including planning and budgeting. They coordinate everything, ensuring everyone such as technical managers, artists and set supervisors has the information they need to ensure the best post-production results.

Greet is responsible for all operations at Grid Brussels. She is your main contact for all inquiries (greet [at] grid-vfx [dot] com) and is ready to help with your productions. So she looks for the best artist to engage and works out the best workflow for each project. During the productions, she ensures the complete follow-up, step by step until the end, and does her outstanding best to make the collaboration both effective and friendly.

Using the script and the director’s notes, Jan draws up a technical plan for the shooting and the visual effect shots, as well as a realistic budget and timing. During production, he keeps a close eye on the set to ensure that the desired visual effects can be achieved in time and within budget in post production. Once in post production, he supervises the technical and creative process to get the desired effect in the most efficient way possible.

Being involved in technology-driven creative matters, the need for continuous supervision is high. Some of our artists support the executing artists on a technical level, while others support our internal producers and clients on a creative level. All this to guarantee efficient quality control.

In order to keep our computer system up and running, Koen maintains and operates our servers, storage systems, as well as internal and external networks. On top of that, he also employs scripting to help automate some project related tasks.
